Biography
Chad Perkins is a Republican representing Missouri House District 40, which covers all of Pike County and parts of Lincoln, Ralls, and Monroe counties in northeastern Missouri. He has served in the Missouri House of Representatives since 2021, following his election in November 2020 to replace term-limited incumbent Jim Hansen; he previously served as mayor of Bowling Green, where he resides. In addition to politics, Perkins works as a police officer and has been an on-air radio host at KJFM Radio since 2001.
Notable achievements and positions include filing legislation in January 2024 to abolish the death penalty as a pro-life issue, and in February 2025, sponsoring a bill to indirectly remove Cole County Circuit Court Judge Cotton Walker due to disagreement with the judge's decisions.
