Biography

W. Chad Green Sr. is a Republican politician representing Virginia's 69th House of Delegates district, which includes parts of Gloucester County, James City County, York County, and the City of Newport News. Elected unopposed in the 2023 election, he serves on the House Committees on Education and Privileges and Elections. Notable achievements include being the first Republican delegate to pass two bills in the 2024 session, passing seven bills as chief patron and three as chief co-patron overall, and voting with Democrats to safeguard same-sex marriage in Virginia.
