Casey Snider is a Republican representative for Utah House District 5 . Born on November 26, 1985, he assumed office on October 17, 2018, after being appointed in December 2018, becoming one of the youngest members of the Utah House at the time. He serves as Majority Leader and is executive director of the Bear River Land Conservancy. Snider has worked as a rancher and volunteer firefighter in Cache County. Previously, he chaired the Cache County Republican Party.

Education and Political Experience

Snider earned a master's degree and worked in environmental and natural resources policy, commuting between Utah and Washington, D.C. His experience includes serving as legislative director for Rep. Rob Bishop and as a staffer on the U.S. House Committee on Natural Resources. He has held roles at national, state, and local government levels.
