Carolyn Hall is a Democratic representative for Alaska State House District 16, covering the Anchorage neighborhoods of Turnagain, Spenard, and Sand Lake. Age 43, born in Massachusetts, she has lived in Alaska for 13 years and resides at 3007 West 32nd Avenue in Anchorage. She is married to Scott Jensen and works as a communications professional. Elected in 2024 after defeating Independent Nick Moe with 56.6% of the vote, she serves on nine committees, including co-chairing Labor & Commerce, and prioritizes reforming the state retirement system, updating unemployment insurance, and expanding paid parental leave.
