Carol Kazeem is a Democratic member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, representing the 159th district since January 3, 2023. Born in Chester, Pennsylvania, she is a lifelong resident, mother, and activist known for advocating on issues like $15 minimum wage, education equity, gun violence prevention, ending mass incarceration, housing, and environmental justice. She defeated incumbent Brian Kirkland in the 2022 Democratic primary and Republican Ruth Moton in the general election; as of 2026, she is running for re-election.
