Cara Christine Pavalock-D'Amato is a Republican member of the Connecticut House of Representatives, representing District 77 . She assumed office on January 7, 2015, and won re-election on November 5, 2024, currently serving her sixth term. Notable positions include Republican Whip , Assistant Minority Leader , Ranking Member of the Insurance and Real Estate Committee, and member of the Finance, Revenue and Bonding Committee and Joint Committee on Judiciary. She is a solo practitioner at the Law Offices of Cara C. Pavalock, specializing in family law, bankruptcy, and foreclosure defense since 2008. Born in Bristol, Connecticut, she previously ran for Florida House District 98 in 2012 and served on the City of Fort Lauderdale Utility Advisory Board.
