Candice White is a Democrat representing Washington-2 in the Vermont House of Representatives, serving her first term in the 2025–2026 biennium . She serves as Assistant Majority Leader and is a member of the House Committee on Transportation. White has built a career in communications and marketing, holding leadership roles at national magazines like The Atlantic Monthly, Fast Company, and The American Prospect. From 2008 to 2018, she was on the executive team at Sugarbush Resort, overseeing marketing, communications, and guest services. Since 2018, she has run a strategic communications consulting practice and works as a freelance writer. A lifelong advocate for women, she is co-chair of the Vermont Women’s Fund Council. She previously chaired the Central Vermont Economic Development Corporation board and supported local schools as past president of the Waitsfield Elementary School PTA and a member of the Harwood Union High School hiring committee. White lives in Waitsfield since 2003, is married to Christopher Klyza , and they have four adult children. She enjoys skiing, swimming, and is a former marathon runner.
