Homer Marion "Buddy" DeLoach is a Republican state representative for District 167 in the Georgia House of Representatives, representing Glynn, Liberty, Long, McIntosh, and Wayne counties. Born on February 27, 1942, in Hinesville, Georgia, he resides in Townsend, Georgia, with his wife Linda and has one child, Jeffrey. A former insurance agent and Methodist, he previously served as mayor of his community and has held legislative roles from 1995 to 2005 before returning in 2021. Notable positions include Chairman of the House Committee on Ethics and Vice Chair of the House Committee on Insurance, with membership on committees such as Judiciary , Natural Resources & Environment, Defense & Veterans Affairs, and others.
