Biography
Bud L. Williams is a Democratic State Representative serving the 11th Hampden District in the Massachusetts House of Representatives, representing the city of Springfield. He serves as Vice Chair of the House Committee on Redistricting and is a member of the House Committee on Ways and Means, Joint Committee on Economic Development and Emerging Technologies, Joint Committee on Education, and Joint Committee on Ways and Means; he also belongs to the Massachusetts Black and Latino Legislative Caucus. Notable prior roles include two tenures on the Springfield City Council , an unsuccessful 2009 mayoral bid, and a 2002 Democratic primary loss for the same state house seat.
