Biography

Bryan Dean Cutler is a Republican who represents the 100th legislative district of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, covering parts of southern Lancaster County including Bart Township, Christiana Borough, Colerain Township, and Drumore Township. First elected in 2006 after defeating incumbent Gibson C. Armstrong in the Republican primary, he has served continuously since 2007, currently in his eighth term. Notable achievements include serving as House Majority Leader , Speaker of the House , and Republican Chairman of the House Education Committee for the 2025-26 session. He sponsored key bipartisan legislation such as Act 164 of 2012 , Act 60 of 2013 , rural trauma center funding in 2019, and a state-based health insurance exchange to lower costs. Cutler announced his retirement ahead of the 2026 election in 2025. He lives on an 11-acre hobby farm with his wife Jennifer and three children , and they attend Wrightsdale Baptist Church.
