Biography
Bryan Brinyark is a Republican representative for Alabama House District 16, covering Fayette, Jefferson, and Tuscaloosa counties. A lifelong resident of Tuscaloosa County, he is a devoted family man, Christian, and partner at Brinyark & Frederick law firm in West Alabama. He lives in the Samantha/Windham Springs area on a small farm, where he raised his five children—all graduates of Northside High School and the University of Alabama. Brinyark advocates for limited government, fiscal responsibility, and individual freedoms, and holds conservative family values. He is a member of Northport Church of Christ and has been involved with the National Rifle Association as a former Election Volunteer Coordinator and Co-Chairman of Friends of the NRA.
Education and Political Experience
- Education: Graduated from Central High School in Tuscaloosa ; earned a bachelor’s degree and law degree from the University of Alabama.
- Political Experience: Serves as Alabama House Representative for District 16. Since 2005, municipal judge for Centreville; previously for Brent and Woodstock; currently substitute municipal judge for Tuscaloosa. Member of Alabama Judicial Study Commission ; Tuscaloosa Bar Association ; Alabama Municipal Judges Association.
