Biography
Bruce Alan Cozart is a Republican representing District 91 in the Arkansas House of Representatives, covering a portion of Garland County including Hot Springs. He is a general contractor who owns Bruce Cozart Construction, Inc., specializing in commercial and residential buildings, and is affiliated with the Assembly of God church. Notable achievements include serving as president of the Arkansas Home Builders Association and past president of the Hot Springs Home Builders Association, as well as involvement in civic organizations like Habitat for Humanity. In the 95th General Assembly, he serves as Co-Chair of the Joint Performance Review Committee and holds positions on the House Agriculture, Forestry, and Economic Development Committee, House Education Committee, and Arkansas Legislative Council. He also contributed to passing a teacher pay increase bill in 2021 alongside Senator Missy Irvin.
