Biography
Bruce Bostelman
Bruce Lee Bostelman was born on July 20, 1962, in Superior, Nebraska. He is a conservative Republican who served in the Nebraska Legislature representing the 23rd district from 2017 to 2025. Beyond his legislative role, Bostelman has been actively involved in environmental advocacy, serving as a key player in cleanup efforts at the Mead, Nebraska AltEn factory pesticide contamination site.
Education
Bostelman earned an associate's degree in paralegal science from the Community College of the Air Force and a Bachelor of Science in business management from Bellevue University, which he completed in 2002.
Political Experience
Bostelman was elected to the Nebraska Unicameral in 2016. During his tenure in the legislature, he served on several committees, including the Natural Resources Committee as vice chairperson, as well as the Transportation and Telecommunications Committee and the Building and Maintenance Committee. He also served on the Nebraska Information Technology Commission.
In addition to his legislative work, Bostelman held leadership positions in professional organizations, including roles with the Nebraska Professional Firefighters Association. He also received endorsement from the Nebraska Farm Bureau's Political Action Committee for his re-election efforts.
