Biography
Senator Bruce Bickford is a Republican representing Senate District 20 in Maine, covering Androscoggin County and Cumberland County . A lifelong Auburn resident, he was elected to the Maine Senate in November 2024 after a two-year hiatus, marking his first Senate term and seventh overall legislative term. Previously, he served in the House of Representatives during the 124th-125th and 127th-130th Legislatures . Now retired from managing small businesses in central and southern Maine, he works as a pharmacy technician in Auburn and holds board positions with the Auburn Business Association and Lewiston Auburn Railroad Company. Notable achievements include ushering two of Maine's largest income tax cuts through his work on the Taxation Committee over five terms. He currently serves on the Taxation Committee and has past assignments in Labor and Housing.
