Brooklynne Mosley
Brooklynne Mosley is a Democratic representative for Kansas House District 46, serving since 2025. She is a U.S. Air Force veteran known for her work in political organizing, community advocacy, and campaigns for figures like Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren.
Brooklynne Roulette Mosley was born in Kansas City, Missouri, and raised in Waldo, Kansas, until age nine, when her family moved to Queens, New York, and later South Suburban Chicago due to her father's work. She is the oldest child in a large extended maternal family and now resides in East Lawrence, Kansas.
She enlisted in the United States Air Force as an aircrew member on the KC-10 aircraft, deploying during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom, and separated in 2013. Mosley works as Vice President of Mobilization and Advocacy at GPS Impact and volunteers on local, regional, and statewide boards.
In 2024, she won the Democratic primary for District 46 with 67.01% of the vote against competitors Brittany Kathleen Hall and Logan Ginavan, and was unopposed in the general election. Her platform emphasized extending property tax relief, addressing food insecurity and climate change, and expanding voting rights.
Notable prior roles include Kansas state coordinated campaign director for Bernie Sanders , deputy executive director of the Kansas Democratic Party , deputy director of appointments for Gov. Laura Kelly, and coordinated campaign lead for the Texas Democratic Party .
