Brion Curran is an American politician and member of the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party . They represent District 36B in the Minnesota House of Representatives, covering White Bear Lake, Vadnais Heights, Gem Lake, Birchwood Village, and parts of White Bear Township in Ramsey and Washington Counties. Elected in 2022 after the retirement of incumbent Ami Wazlawik, Curran is serving their second term as of 2025-2026 and holds the position of assistant DFL floor leader.

Notable achievements include vice chair of Minnesota's first Queer Caucus , vice chair of the Sustainable Infrastructure Policy Committee , and service on the Human Services Policy, Judiciary Finance and Civil Law, and Public Safety Finance and Policy committees. Curran championed a 2023 bill banning conversion therapy for minors and vulnerable adults, drawing from personal experience, and authored legislation prohibiting no-knock search warrants. A former deputy sheriff who left due to PTSD, they advocate for mental health support for law enforcement. They also serve on the board of Northeast Youth and Family Services.
