Biography
Brienne D. Brown is the Wisconsin State Representative for Assembly District 43. Born on February 4, 1973, in Germany, she grew up in Austin, Texas, and comes from a family with a proud lineage of military service in every major U.S. conflict since World War I. Elected to the Assembly in 2024, she previously served on the Whitewater Common Council from 2018 to 2025, winning three terms. Brown is a respected community leader known for bipartisan collaboration, advocating for electoral integrity, affordable housing, healthcare, child care, family farms, environmental protection, and increased funding for K-12 schools, universities, and technical colleges. Notable achievements include creating a weekly farmers market in Whitewater, serving a decade on the Library Board, reorganizing the Whitewater Community Foundation, and writing grants for the Whitewater Grocery Cooperative. She earned the 2024 Gun Sense Candidate distinction from Moms Demand Action and serves on the Assembly Committee on Agriculture and the Wisconsin Agricultural Export Advisory Council.
