• Education: Graduated from Marion Center Area High School in 1987; attended Penn State University for business and accounting from 1987 to 1989.
• Early Career and Community Involvement: Worked in construction, heavy equipment, and transportation in the 1990s; board member and vice president of the Punxsutawney Chamber of Commerce; president and treasurer of the Punxsutawney Rotary Club, earning Rotarian of the Year and “Person of Action” award .
