Biography
Brian Reynolds is a Maliseet politician and the non-voting tribal representative for the Houlton Band of Maliseet Indians in the Maine House of Representatives. He serves as an Independent and was elected with 160 votes in May 2025, filling a seat vacant for seven years; his term ends October 2026. Reynolds has been the Houlton Band of Maliseet Indians tribal administrator for nearly 20 years and is a member of the Maine Indian Tribal-State Commission and Tribal Council. He resides in Augusta with partner Margaret and has three children. Notable affiliations include Houlton High School football coach and bow hunter. He was sworn in by Governor Janet Mills, marking improved state-tribal relations.
