Brian Hodgers is a Republican member of the Florida House of Representatives representing House District 32, which includes Brevard County. He was elected to the Florida House in a special election on June 10, 2025, and his current term runs through 2033. Hodgers is a lifelong Florida resident, born on March 28, 1973, in Hollywood, Florida, and currently resides in Viera.

Hodgers earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from Florida Atlantic University.

Political Experience

Before entering the Florida House, Hodgers worked as an insurance company owner and real estate professional. He describes himself as a conservative focused on lower costs and family values. To reach his current legislative seat, Hodgers won a competitive Republican primary in House District 32, where he defeated dermatologist Dr. Terry Cronin and Republican Liberty Caucus leader Bob White, securing the GOP nomination with just over 35% of the vote. He succeeded outgoing Representative Debbie Mayfield.

Hodgers is married to Susan Hodgers and has four children: Raylyn, Ben, Angela, and Sophia. His religious affiliation is Christian.
