Biography
Brian Hill is a Republican representative for Oklahoma House District 47, covering Mustang, Tuttle, and parts of Oklahoma City in Canadian County. Elected in November 2018 and assuming office on January 14, 2019, he was re-elected in 2020 by default and continues to serve as of 2026. A businessman, former youth pastor, author, public speaker, and entrepreneur, Hill has founded a Christian youth magazine, daycare center, and venture capital firm; he serves on boards of local non-profits and lives on a small farm in Mustang with his wife—met at Southwestern Christian University—and two children. Notable achievements include chairing the House Commerce and Economic Development Oversight Committee, launching economic development hubs for high-wage jobs, defending religious liberty during COVID-19, leading restorative workforce initiatives that lowered Oklahoma's recidivism rate to a historic low, and authoring HB 2398 to align higher education with workforce needs.
