Biography

Brian Hibbetts is a Republican member of the Nevada Assembly representing District 13 since 2022. Born in 1974 in Las Vegas to a working-class family, he had a typical childhood attending public schools. At age 15, he volunteered with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Explorer program, joined full-time in 1994, rose through the ranks, and retired in 2021. He is married to Tracy Hibbetts and lives in District 13, which covers northwestern Las Vegas Valley neighborhoods along Grand Teton Drive. Hibbetts won a competitive 2022 Republican primary and general election , succeeding Assemblyman Tom Roberts. Notable achievements include community leadership as co-founder/director of Ex-Con Inc NV , volunteer with Just 1 Project, J4NG, and LIT, and life member of the Republican National Committee, National Rifle Association, and Las Vegas Emerald Society. He previously served on NvSCA CCW sub-committee, NVORCA board, and as CIRT Peer member. His priorities include community safety, school choice, economic diversity, and protecting individual freedoms.
