Brian Helton is a Republican state senator representing District 9 in the West Virginia Senate. Born on July 27, 1970, in Beckley, West Virginia, he is a lifelong southern West Virginian, Baptist, and married to Emily. A business owner with a focus on conservative values like faith, family, freedom, job creation, life and religious freedom, Second Amendment rights, protecting children from certain policies, support for law enforcement, and lower taxes, he won election to the seat by defeating Democrat Christy Cardwell.
