Biography
Brian Close is a Democratic member of the Montana House of Representatives, representing District 65. He moved to Montana in 1994 and was first elected in 2024, defeating Republican nominee Esther Fishbaugh with 56% of the vote. A practicing attorney for over 40 years specializing in taxation, Close has a record of public service in areas including seniors, public health, transportation, government , planning, and parks. Notable positions include opposition to legislation banning mRNA vaccines in Montana and membership on the House Committee on Economic Affairs Interim.
