Biography
Brett Miller
Brett Miller is a Republican member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, representing the 41st Legislative District since January 6, 2015. He was born on July 22, 1961, and resides in East Hempfield Township, Lancaster County. He is married to Jennifer.
Miller has built a reputation as a fiscal conservative and advocate for taxpayer interests. Prior to his election to the state House, he served as a township supervisor in East Hempfield Township, where he managed the township's finances with fiscal discipline, transforming it from a dismal fiscal outlook to a sizable surplus without raising taxes or cutting services.
Education and Background
Miller earned his degree from Liberty University. Before entering electoral politics, he spent 26 years working in education as a guidance counselor in Lancaster County's public schools. He served for four years at Garden Spot School District and subsequently for 22 years at Warwick School District, where he assisted thousands of students and families.
Political Experience
In the Pennsylvania House, Miller serves on multiple committees, including State Government , Local Government , Consumer Protection, Technology and Utilities, and Insurance. He is known for working across the aisle to find common ground on issues facing Pennsylvanians and maintains an active presence in his district through community engagement and constituent services.
