Brent Howard is a Republican state senator representing District 38 in the Oklahoma State Senate, serving since 2018. A fifth-generation Oklahoman from Altus in Southwest Oklahoma, he grew up on family farmland homesteaded by his great-grandfather before statehood and operates a law practice focused on estate planning and tax law near his family's wheat and cattle operation. He and his wife Jennifer are active members and volunteers at the First United Methodist Church of Altus.
