Representative Brandy Donaghy
Brandy Donaghy is a Democratic member of the Washington House of Representatives serving District 44, which includes the cities of Mill Creek and Snohomish. She was appointed to the House by the Snohomish County Council in December 2021 to fill a vacancy created by Representative John Lovick's resignation and was subsequently retained in 2022.

Her appointment to represent the 44th District made history, as it marked the first and only time in Snohomish County that a legislative district achieved an all-Black delegation at the state level.
