Biography

Brad Wenstrup is a Republican who represented Ohio's 2nd Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2013 to 2025. Born on June 17, 1958, in Cincinnati, Ohio, he is a retired U.S. Army Reserve Colonel, podiatric surgeon, and combat veteran who deployed to Iraq in 2005–2006 as Chief of Surgery, earning the Bronze Star, Combat Action Badge, Soldier’s Medal for Heroism , and Legion of Merit . A Cincinnati native, he practiced podiatric medicine for 26–27 years, including his own private practice and later a large orthopedic group. Married to Monica with a son, Brad Jr., his notable post-Congress roles include serving on the President's Intelligence Advisory Board and launching Ubiquitous Strategies Alliance in January 2025.
