Biography
Brad Klippert is a former Washington State Representative for the 8th Legislative District , serving from 2008 to 2022 . Born June 27, 1957, he is a retired O6/Colonel Commander of the Washington State Guard with over 30 years of military leadership, including 20 years as a U.S. Army helicopter pilot. He has over 30 years in law enforcement as a Sheriff's Deputy in Pierce and Benton Counties, currently serving as a School Resource Officer at Kiona-Benton City High School since 2000, and has worked as a firefighter in Yakima and Pierce Counties. Klippert is also an ordained minister and teacher from 1st grade to college level, including Political Science 101. Notable positions include past Assistant Minority Whip in the House; he ran unsuccessfully for U.S. Congress , State Superintendent of Public Instruction , and other statewide offices. As of late 2025, he serves as Kennewick City Councilmember Position 4, sworn in after winning with 66.84% of the vote.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Science and Biblical Studies.
- Graduate of Central Washington University Paramedic Program.

- Washington State House of Representatives, 8th District : Sponsored bills on public safety, veterans' affairs, education, and retirement systems for public employees/teachers. Proposed HB 1377 to end mail-in voting.
- Kennewick City Council, Position 4 .
- Previous candidacies: U.S. Senate , U.S. House 4th District , State Superintendent , Secretary of State special election .
