Representative Brad Boles

District: Oklahoma House District 51

Brad Boles is a lifelong resident of Stephens County, Oklahoma, born on October 16, 1983. He is married to his college sweetheart, Michelle, and is deeply rooted in his community, particularly in Marlow. Boles represents the towns and communities within District 51, including Marlow, Duncan, Chickasha, and surrounding areas.

Before his legislative career, Boles was the third generation president of his family's manufacturing business, Wilco. Under his leadership from 2008, the company grew from 100 employees to nearly 500 employees and was recognized by Inc. Magazine in 2013 as the fastest growing privately owned manufacturing company in Oklahoma and the 30th fastest in the nation. Wilco was sold to a Fortune 500 publicly traded company in 2018, where Boles remained as an executive. He is also a co-founder and co-owner of Philtek Services & Staffing in Duncan, which has grown to over 200 employees with offices in multiple Oklahoma cities.

Boles has received numerous awards, including the Association of South Central Oklahoma Governments' Business Leader of the Year, the Eastern Oklahoma State College Young Alumnus of the Year, and Marlow Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year. He is an active member of First Baptist Church Marlow, serving as an ordained deacon, treasurer, and Sunday school teacher.

Education

Boles graduated from Marlow High School and attended Eastern Oklahoma State College, where he played baseball and earned an Associate degree in Business while being named an Academic All-American. He then attended Dallas Baptist University, where he played NCAA Division-1 baseball and completed his bachelor's degree in Business. He later earned a dual MBA degree in Finance and Business Management, graduating with honors.

Political Experience

Before being elected to the Oklahoma House of Representatives in March 2018, Boles held several local and state leadership positions. He served as Mayor of Marlow from 2014-2018 and was a member of the Marlow Public School Board of Education. He served as President of the Marlow Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and held state leadership roles including Chair of the Board for the Oklahoma Manufacturing Alliance and State Chamber Board Director. He was also a member of Leadership Oklahoma Class 31.

In the Oklahoma House, Boles serves as Chair of the Energy and Natural Resources Oversight Committee and holds memberships on multiple committees including Appropriations and Budget, Public Safety, Business, and County and Municipal Government.
