Biography
Brach Jerad Myers is a Republican State Senator representing District 23 in Louisiana, which covers parts of Lafayette Parish and corresponding House Districts 31, 39, 43, 44, 45, 48, and 49. Elected in a special election on February 15, 2025, with 55% of the vote against Broussard Councilman Jessie Regan, he is eligible to serve through the 2032-2036 term. As Vice Chair of the Acadiana Delegation, he serves on the Louisiana Republican Legislative Delegation and Louisiana Rural Caucus, with committee assignments in Environmental Quality, Insurance, Labor and Industrial Relations, and Retirement. His priorities include lowering insurance costs, expanding economic opportunity, investing in education, protecting the sanctity of life, keeping communities safe, and defending local values.
