Robert B. Long is a Republican member of the Maryland House of Delegates representing District 6 in Baltimore County. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, on January 11, 1957, he has served since 2015 after being first elected in 2014. He works as a real estate broker and consultant for Covenant Realty, Inc., since 1985, and is a former union truck driver. He is married with four children and is a member of organizations including the Maryland Association of Realtors, Greater Baltimore Board of Realtors, Henrietta Lacks Legacy Group, and National Rifle Association.

Education and Political Experience

• Education: Attended Essex Community College and Community College of Baltimore County; Graduate Realtor Institute.
• Political Experience: Serves on the Ways and Means Committee, including the Early Childhood and Special Education Subcommittee and Local Revenues Subcommittee . Past roles include Election Law Subcommittee , Revenues Subcommittee , and Finance Resources . Also a member of the Maryland Veterans Caucus .
