Biography
Bob Fehrenbacher is a Republican politician born on November 25, 1957, representing District 11 in the West Virginia House of Delegates since 2022. He represents Vienna and North Parkersburg, previously served as a retired manager at Chemours' Washington Works plant, and announced his candidacy for West Virginia Senate District 3 in 2026. Notable achievements include committee appointments in Finance, Energy and Manufacturing, Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment, Health and Human Resources Accountability, and Legislative Rulemaking; serving as West Virginia delegate to the Energy Council; sponsoring 9 bills in 2025 ; and contributions to economic development, tax cuts, flat-line budgets, and job creation as a Finance Committee member. He is married to Annette with three children and is Catholic.
Education and Political Experience
Education: BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
Political Experience: Elected in 2022 after winning the primary on May 10 and general election on November 8 . Prior civic roles include Wood County Development Authority, West Virginia Manufacturers Association, Parkersburg Rotary, former board chair of United Way Alliance of the Mid-Ohio Valley, and leadership in BSA and church councils.
