Biography
Foy W. "Bo" Watson, born October 21, 1960, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, is a Republican member of the Tennessee State Senate representing District 11 since 2007. A physical therapist by profession, he has served as Director of Sports Medicine and Therapy Services at Parkridge Medical Center since 1996. He is married to Nicole with one son, Grey, and is a member of First Centenary United Methodist Church. Watson is recognized for his conservative voting record, consistently scoring 85% or higher from the American Conservative Union, and has been involved in community service including the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, Habitat for Humanity, Junior Achievement, and as chair of the Douglas Henry State Museum Commission.

Education: Attended Normal Park Elementary and Baylor School ; B.A. in biology, magna cum laude, University of Tennessee at Chattanooga ; physical therapy training, University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Memphis.
Political Experience: Elected to Tennessee House ; Tennessee Senate . Served as Speaker Pro Tempore ; Chair, Senate Finance, Ways and Means Committee ; Chair, Senate Rules Committee; Chair, Joint Committee on Pensions and Insurance; member of Health and Welfare, Commerce and Labor, and Fiscal Review Committees. Created Tennessee’s AI Advisory Council; supports fiscal conservatism, literacy initiatives, and restrictions on gender-affirming care.
