Blake John Miguez is a Republican politician representing Louisiana Senate District 22, which includes parts of Iberia, Lafayette, and St. Martin parishes. He assumed office on January 8, 2024, after winning election on October 14, 2023, with 61% of the vote. Previously, he served in the Louisiana House of Representatives from 2015, representing Iberia and Vermilion parishes, following a special election victory. A member of the Louisiana Freedom Caucus, Miguez is an executive in the oil-and-gas industry and a licensed corporate attorney in Louisiana.
