Blake Carpenter is a Republican member of the Kansas House of Representatives representing the 81st district. He represents constituents in Sedgwick County in Kansas at the state level.

Political Experience

Carpenter has served in the Kansas House of Representatives since 2015. He holds the position of Speaker Pro Tem, a leadership role within the chamber. Previously, he served as House Majority Whip, a position he was elected to in December 2018, beginning in January 2019.

As Representative for Kansas Lower District 81, Carpenter's responsibilities include representing constituent interests, voting on legislation and policy proposals, serving on relevant committees, and advocating for community resources and funding for his district.

Education

Carpenter earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wichita State University, graduating in December 2014 after the November 2014 election.
