Biography
Blaine Luetkemeyer is a Republican politician born on May 7, 1952, in Jefferson City, Missouri. He served as the U.S. Representative for Missouri's 3rd congressional district from 2013 to 2025 and for the 9th district from 2009 to 2013. A lifelong Missourian, he resides in St. Elizabeth with his wife Jackie and has three children: Nikki, Brandy, and Trevor. In March 2025, Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe appointed him to the University of Missouri Board of Curators. Notable achievements include introducing legislation to end Operation Choke Point in 2014, chairing subcommittees on the House Financial Services Committee, securing $32 million for the NextGen MU Research Reactor, and receiving the Henry S. Geyer Award from the Mizzou Alumni Association in 2023.
Education
Luetkemeyer graduated from St. Elizabeth High School in 1970 and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Business Administration from Lincoln University in Jefferson City in 1974.
