Biography
Bill Weber is a Republican member of the Minnesota Senate representing District 21, which covers communities in Cottonwood, Jackson, Lincoln, Martin, Murray, Nobles, Pipestone, Rock, and Watonwan counties in southwestern Minnesota. Born on April 3, 1956, he was raised on a farm in rural Rock County, resides in Luverne with his wife Barb, and they have two adult children. A licensed real estate broker, he owns and serves as president of Jensen Management Service, Inc., a firm specializing in real estate appraisal, brokerage, management, and consulting. Notable achievements include serving as Luverne City Council member and mayor , first elected to the Senate in 2012 , and re-elected in 2016, 2020, and 2022. He holds key committee roles, including chair of the Agriculture, Rural Development, and Housing Policy Committee, vice chair of the Environment and Natural Resources Policy and Legacy Finance Committee, and Republican Lead on Taxes, Energy, Utilities, Environment, and Climate. His priorities include tax reform, economic development, jobs, child care, and regulatory reform.
