Biography
Bill G. Schuette is a Republican state representative serving Michigan's 95th House District, which includes all of Midland County and Beaverton, Billings, and Tobacco townships in Gladwin County. Born July 21, 1995, in Midland, he is the son of former Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette and a lifelong Midlander. First elected in November 2022 with 61% of the vote, he was reelected in 2024 and is currently in his second term. Notable achievements include chairing the House Rules Committee, serving on Finance, Insurance, and Judiciary committees, and leading the House Select Committee on Protecting Michigan Employees and Small Businesses to advance worker and small business reforms. He has advocated for tax cuts, including raising the Earned Income Tax Credit, dam restoration funding, flood reduction in Midland, and responsible taxpayer spending.

- Education: Graduated from H.H. Dow High School ; earned a Bachelor of Science in International Politics from Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Service in 2017; completed an Accelerated Master of Arts in Latin American Studies in 2018.
