Biography
Bill Patmon was a Democratic politician and businessman from Cleveland, Ohio, who represented the 10th District in the Ohio House of Representatives from 2011 to 2018. He previously served as a Cleveland City Councilman and was known for his work on education, transportation, public safety, and health legislation. A notable achievement was sponsoring House Bill 147, the Lizzie B. Byrd Act—named after his mother—which requires physicians to inform breast cancer patients of all treatment options, including insurance-covered reconstructive surgery; it was signed into law in 2014.
