Biography

William "Bill" F. Moen Jr. is a Democratic Assemblyman representing New Jersey's 5th Legislative District . First elected to the New Jersey General Assembly in November 2019 and serving since 2020, he is the youngest member of the state legislature. He resides in Bellmawr with his wife Nicole and is a lifelong Camden County resident, advocate for veterans, and former coach with North Camden Little League. Notable achievements include authoring laws on public water lead notifications and the New Jersey Task Force on Long-Term Care Quality and Safety; focusing on environmental justice, transportation, millennial issues, workforce training, and economic opportunity; and current roles as Deputy Majority Leader , Deputy Speaker, member of the New Jersey Ireland Trade Commission , Chair of the Assembly Committee on Tourism, Gaming and the Arts, and Executive Director for Workforce Development and Innovation at Camden County College.
