Biography
Bill Kinkade is a Republican representing Mississippi's 52nd House District. Born in 1957 to a military family in Orange, California, he moved to Mississippi shortly after birth. He served in the United States Air Force as Security Police from 1975 to 1978. In 1992, he settled in Marshall County with his family and became active in the community. Kinkade works as Vice President at Champion Awards and Apparel, Inc., since 2006, where he has spoken at seminars, written industry articles, and driven company growth. He won a special election in 2012 for the 52nd district after the incumbent's resignation, defeating Jeremy Bryan in a runoff, and was reelected unopposed in 2015 and 2019. Notable roles include Chair of the Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks Committee, plus memberships on Agriculture, Energy, Forestry, and Ways and Means committees .
