Bill Hardwick
Bill Hardwick is a Republican member of the Missouri House of Representatives representing District 121. He is an American attorney and combat veteran who was first elected in November 2020 from district 122 and assumed office on January 6, 2021. Following redistricting in 2022, he was reelected to represent district 121. He is married to Teresa.
Political Experience
Hardwick has an extensive background in legal and military service. His professional experience includes serving as an officer in the Missouri National Guard, an attorney in the Department of the Army, a Special Assistant United States Attorney, the prosecutor for St. Robert City, and an assistant prosecuting attorney for Pulaski County.
In the Missouri House, Hardwick has championed several significant legislative initiatives. In 2021, he sponsored the Missouri Cybersecurity Act, designed to help the state identify cyber vulnerabilities and develop attack response plans for critical infrastructure as well as state and local agencies. That same year, he passed language into law allowing persons wrongfully convicted of crimes who were actually innocent to have their convictions set aside or vacated.
