William "Bill" Conerly is a Republican member of the Florida House of Representatives, representing District 72 in Manatee County since his election in 2024. A fifth-generation Floridian born on February 19, 1965, in Miami, he resides in Lakewood Ranch with his spouse, Melanie Conerly of Bradenton. Conerly is a U.S. Navy veteran who served nearly six years, a civil engineer, and owner/vice president of Kimley-Horn and Associates, where he mentors engineers. He has campaigned as a supporter of Donald Trump, prioritizing issues like reducing home insurance premiums, holding insurance companies accountable, and election integrity.
