Biography

William "Bill" Bridgeo is a Democratic member of the Maine House of Representatives representing District 60 , where he serves as a state representative. Born on January 17, 1950, in Aroostook County, Maine, he assumed office on December 7, 2022, after winning election against Republican William Clardy, and is currently in his second term. A retired city manager who led Augusta from 1998 to 2021, Bridgeo resides in Augusta with his spouse Janice and their two children; he also serves as an educator at the University of Maine at Augusta. Notable positions include membership on the Environment and Natural Resources Committee and the Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Committee.
