Bill Beagle is a Republican who served as Ohio State Senator for the 5th District from 2013 to 2020. A dedicated public servant born on December 6, 1964, in Syracuse, New York, he currently serves as *Executive Director of the Ohio Housing Finance Agency * since January 2025, leading efforts in affordable housing and homebuyer programs. Prior roles include senior director of policy and program administration for the Ohio Treasurer of State, where he helped develop the Ohio Homebuyer Plus program. He founded an apartment rental company in 2002 after a career in banking and finance, and locally served as President of Tipp City Council, on the Tipp City Library Board, and Planning Board. Married to Karen with three grown children, he resides in Tipp City, Ohio.

Notable achievements include chairing the Senate Workforce Development and Public Utilities Committees; serving on Finance, Ways and Means, Health and Medicaid Committees; chairing the Ohio Aerospace and Aviation Technology Committee and Ohio Commission on Fatherhood; and roles on the Ohio Third Frontier Advisory Board and Governor’s Executive Workforce Board.
