Biography
Delegate Bill Anderson represents District 10 in the West Virginia House of Delegates. Born Everette William Anderson on August 9, 1948, in Parkersburg, WV, he is an educator by occupation and a Presbyterian. His parents were the late Everette W. and Imogene I. Anderson. He has served continuously in the House since 1992, initially representing District 8 until 2022, and now District 10. Notable achievements include serving as Speaker Pro Tempore , Chair of the Energy and Manufacturing Committee, and Chair of the Joint Committee on Energy. He has sponsored key legislation, such as HB2014 and bills in 2026 like HB4696 . Affiliations include NEA, WVEA, American Legion Post 159, Wood County Farm Bureau, and West Virginia Cattlemen’s Association. Military service: U.S. Air Force Airman.
