Biography
Bianca Ward Virnig is an American politician and member of the Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party representing Minnesota House District 52B, which includes portions of Eagan, Mendota, and Mendota Heights in Dakota County. A resident of Eagan for over 20 years, she is married with three children and works as a small-business owner and health and safety consultant. She won a special election for District 52B on December 5, 2023 , followed by re-election in the November 5, 2024 general election . Notable achievements include serving on the Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan School Board , advocating for education, healthcare, disability rights, and social justice, and authoring legislation on workforce development, access to school medications, reducing fees for families with disabilities, infrastructure upgrades for social services, and school facility repairs. She is a Humphrey Policy Fellow and participated in the House DFL Caucus boycott starting in the 2025 legislative session.
