Biography
Beth Wessel-Kroeschell is a Democratic representative for House District 49 in the Iowa House of Representatives, serving Story County and residing in Ames, Iowa. Born in 1959 in Ames, she has represented the area since 2005, initially in District 45 until redistricting in 2022, and is currently in her 11th term during the 91st General Assembly . Notable roles include Ranking Member of the Health and Human Services Committee, with additional assignments on Appropriations, Judiciary, Public Safety, and the Justice System Appropriations Subcommittee.
