Representative Beryl Amedée

Beryl Adams Amedée is a Republican state representative from Louisiana who was born on October 14, 1964. She is a lifelong resident of Terrebonne Parish and serves as the owner of Forerunner Errand & Concierge. Beyond her legislative work, Amedée is actively involved in her community, serving on the board for the Stella Learning Center in Houma, which provides education and support for children with autism and related challenges.

Political Experience

Amedée represents Louisiana House District 51, which encompasses portions of Terrebonne, St. Mary, Assumption, and Lafourche Parishes. She was first elected in 2015 and has continued to serve her constituents through multiple legislative terms.

In the Louisiana House, she holds memberships on three key committees: the Appropriations Committee, the Education Committee, and the Labor Committee. Additionally, she was appointed to the LSMSA Board of Directors in June 2017.
